In the older versions of Emperor, before 1.18-nnn it was necessary to change the USB-Serial Converter latency timer setting from 16ms to 1ms in order to avoid the 'Test Stand Data Buffer Overflow' message.
This change is no longer necessary in the majority of cases for the v1.18-nnn.
However if you are receiving 'Test Stand Data Buffer Overflow' or 'PC Watchdog Comms Timeout' messages please close down all other software and change the latency timer setting to 1ms.
