Testing Release Torque of Removable Cleats Used in Golf Shoes

This video shows a custom built Vortex-i computer controlled torque testing system being used to measure the release torque of removable cleats fitted to golf shoes. Precise alignment of each cleat prior to testing is vital, and this modified system has a gimble mounted precision X-Y motion table. Emperor software measures the release torque and displays a "Pass" or "Fail" result.
